Highlights

  •  Wilson Hill events and reminders for November 24th thru December 5th:

     
    Bring Your Own Device- Worthington City Schools is encouraging students to bring their own device (BYOD).  There is a flyer about this in eBackpack that gives more information on this initiative.

    Abby Candle Sale- Abby Candle Sale orders were due Friday, November 21st.   Please send in the white Abby Candle envelope with your child to school if you have yet to do so.  Don't forget easy online orders is also available too: abbycandles.com/register.  Register  your student and you will be provided their seller ID code.  All proceeds will fund our Spring Author Visit for all students!     Cool Weather- Wilson Hill will make an effort to take students outside for recess to encourage physical activity.  Please make sure that your child has a winter coat, hats and gloves as we head into the winter months. When the conditions are safe and temperatures are above 20 degrees wind chill , Wilson Hill students will plan to have outdoor recess.


    Student Recognition Assemblies- We will have two assemblies to recognize our students accomplishments that will take place on November 25th and May 8th. At the assembly we will recognize students for their achievements (Example Awards: Perfect Attendance, Circle of Grandparent traits of the month and Honor/Merit Roll for Grades 5/6) .  The assembly taking place on November 25th will be at 9:00 for K-3 and at 9:50 for grades 4-6. The time for the assembly May 8th will be in the P.M.(TBD).


    Save the Date- Wilson Hill will have a PARCC/Air Assessment informational meeting on Tuesday,February 10th at 6:15 PM prior to the Wilson Hill PTO Meeting.  This event is open to any family that would like to learn more about the new assessments that students in grades 3-6 will take part in. Also, the assessment calendar for this school year will be released in early December.


    eBackpack- This is on the top of the Wilson Hill Webpage.  To access and view the contents, click on eBackpack, then click on the item you wish you view on the left. Next click on the title in the middle of the page. Finally, click on Details and the document will open. This week’s information in eBackpack includes:
