Highlights

  • Dear Wilson Hill Families,

On Friday I was reminded just how supportive our school community is.  Our 6th grade Mumkin Fundraiser was complete with our flower pick-up.  It was great to see the 600 plus Mumkins on our front lawn.  Thank you to all the families that supported this fundraiser!

Please keep in mind the following for the week:

October Early Releases- Worthington City Schools made an error on a calendar publication that was sent to families.  The early releases that will take place in October are October 16th, 1:30 PM release and October 31st, 12:00 PM release.  Those families that have students in PM Kindergarten will still have class at their normal times. The Wilson Hill Google Calendar displays these early releases accurately.  Sorry for any confusion that this mistake may have caused!

    PTO Updates

    • 2nd Annual Holiday Bazaar- Looking for Wilson Hill talented crafters and small business owners to take part in the Holiday Bazaar!! Only $25 for a table rental!  Friday November 7th 4:00-8:00 PM and Saturday November 8th 9:00-1:00PM. Contact PTO president Mrs. Arkus for more information on this event or to reserve a table (jkarkus@msn.com).

    • School Pictures-  Each student’s school photos were delivered to their teacher on Thursday, September 25th.  Please look for them in backpacks!  If you aren't happy with your child's photo - NO PROBLEM!  Photo re-take day is Friday, October 3rd.  Please return the entire photo packet to school and their picture will be taken on Friday.  If your child has not had their photo taken yet, they will photographed next Friday, October 3rd.  If you have any questions please contact PTO Photo Chairperson, Aimee Beckert beckert_family@yahoo.com

    • Market Day-This week your child should have brought home the Market Day cookie dough fundraiser form.  This is our biggest fundraiser with Market Day. We receive a percentage of all cookies sold and those profits go directly to our PTO.  Please make sure to include payment with your returned order form.  You cannot pay for the cookies at the time of pickup (unlike the normal Market Day sale).  Also, please make sure to include your child's homeroom teacher's name with your order.  We want to make sure that each classroom gets credit for the amount of cookies sold!  The classroom with the most sales wins a milk & cookie party!  Last day to turn in the forms is  , October 1st.   You can pick up your orders in the gym between 6:00-7:00PM on Wednesday, October 8th.  Any questions, please call Nicole at 746-2600.

Fall After School Programs- Worthington City School has several after school programs offered for elementary students. In our Quicklinks section (left hand side of the page) is a link with detailed information on these after school programs. The link is titled Fall After School Programs.

Worthington Kilbourne High School Digital Danger Presentation- Kilbourne High School is excited to have Dr. Tim Conrad and Officer Don Stanko back to WKHS on Monday, September 29th at 6 p.m. in the WKHS Auditorium.  As digital technology and social media continues to develop, it is important that we stay current with these trends to help keep our students/children safe online.  If  you have a computer or a smart phone, you are creating a "digital footprint" that will be viewed by all, including employers and colleges.  Together, we have an obligation to help our youth understand that what they do and say online, can and will affect their future.  Please join us on Monday, September 29th at 6 p.m. in our WKHS Auditorium to learn from our experts. Kilbourne High School is extending this opportunity to our Wilson Hill Families.
