  • Announcements for May 4, 2016: Word for the Month is Trustworthiness

    Our final Books and Bagels book club meeting will take place on May 19th at 8:00am in the library. The book selection for this meeting is Jackaby by William Ritter. Interested students should read the novel and join us for a lively discussion and delicious treats!

    Library Due Dates-All library books must be returned to the library by May 13th! The library will close for inventory on May 16th. Any books not returned to the library will be subject to fines and/or replacement costs. Thank you!

    Today during lunch and community there will be information available for any student interested in high school sailing, 7th - 12th grade, co-ed competitive sailing in the fall and spring. 

    There will be an informational meeting for athletes and parents of any 8th grader who is interested in running cross country in high school on Tuesday, May 10 at 6:00 pm in room 185 at Thomas Worthington High School. Discussion topics will be the summer running program, the schedule for the fall, and answering any questions people may have about running cross country in high school.

    Access to Event Information: Please go to Worthingway Website-click on Athletics/Activities, click on Winter Sports and scroll down to Calendar; click on date, you will be able to access event, time, site, address, and directions.

    Weightlifting for our rising freshman football players (7th Graders may attend) Sessions will be held every Monday and Thursday from arrival to 5:15 PM. Shuttle bus will transport students to TWHS, pick is at door #20 near the baseball field. The student-athletes will be instructed on proper lifting technique by our coaching staff. For now, workouts will be centered on core lifts/strengths.  Transportation has been arranged to bring the students to TWHS
