Distinguished Alumni Recognition Program
The Worthington School District's Alumni Association assists classes in planning and organizing their reunions and provides tours of the schools as requested. We have recently established a Distinguished Alumni Recognition Program for those Worthington graduates who have made significant contributions to their profession or avocation, past or present, and provide a positive role model to our students. Honorees will be selected by the Distinguished Alumni Selection Committee and honored at the annual school district Convocation, receive a plaque, and have their pictures permanently displayed at the Administration Building.
2006 Inductees
The 2006 inaugural inductees were: George H. Bonnell, Jr., M.D. (1931), Paul Snouffer (1939), Bob Foster (1948), Carl Wick (1956), Betty Montgomery (1966), Bob Hill (1967), John P. McConnell (1972), and Claire Shipman (1980). Read their biographies.
2007 Inductees
The 2007 inductees were: George T. Harding IV, M.D. (1946), Herndon P. Harding, M.D. (1948), Lawrence "Pete" Fields (1950), Charles F. "Chic" Dambach (1962), and Dana Tyler (1977). Read their biographies.
2008 Inductees
The 2008 inductees were: Kaye W. Kessler (1941), Kay Atkinson Ball (1967), Jim Kammerud (1978), and Jeff Smith (1978). Read their biographies.
WHS Alumni 30 Year Club
The WHS Alumni 30 Year Club has set up a website dedicated to all graduates of Worthington High School. The purpose of the Alumni Club is to celebrate any class that has been out of school for 30 years.
