Dear Bluffsview Families,
November was certainly a busy month at Bluffsview! Parent conferences, our Veterans’ Day assembly, Book Fair and Turkey Trot provided each of us with an opportunity to be more involved in the Bluffsview community. We truly value your partnership as we work together to provide your children with opportunities to grow both academically and socially.
With the unpredictable winter weather, please listen to local radio and TV stations for school closings, delays and early dismissals. A phone call will be made through the Worthington Schools automated calling system when closings occur. Please be sure that your information is entered accurately on the Worthington Schools’ website (Infinite Campus) so you will receive this call. It is important to have a plan in place with your child should one of these situations occur.
An email was sent to all of you earlier this fall requesting your assistance with completing a survey regarding ways that our school and PTA can better serve our school community and meet the needs of our families. If you did not have a chance to complete the survey, please take time to do so before the beginning of January. We will be using this data to determine parent education and information opportunities regarding your children’s academics, social challenges, and decisions about technology. We appreciate and value your input. Survey can be accessed at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KJT5WS5
I look forward to the months ahead and the many new joys it will bring to the Bluffsview community. In this time of thanksgiving, I want to extend my deepest appreciation for the many acts of kindness that each of you bring to the Bluffsview community, as well as for the opportunity you give me each day to be a part of your children’s lives. I wish you all a safe and family-filled time over our Winter Break and look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
