Substitute Teaching with Worthington Schools
 

The Educational Service Center Council of Governments is hiring all substitute teachers for the Worthington City Schools. You must have a current Ohio teaching license in order to be processed for substitute teaching in Worthington.
Contact the ESC COG office at 614-445-3750 to register for an orientation. Before attending your orientation please visit the ESC COG website at www.escco.org to complete all pre-employment paperwork.

Volunteer Background Checks and ID Badges

All people who wish to volunteer in the Worthington School District and with related activities must have a volunteer background check and picture ID badge.

Volunteer background checks will be completed each week in the Human Resource office on Wednesday's from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Human Resource office is on the second floor of the Worthington Education Center, 200 East Wilson Bridge Road, Worthington, Ohio 43085.

Volunteer background checks will take two to five business days (sometimes longer) to process. Please plan ahead as there will be no sameday service.

Approved ID badges are sent to the designated school for the approved volunteer to pick-up. There is no charge for this service.
