Announcements: April 28, 2017, Word for the Diligence

 

Getting to Know Cinderella -- another beloved Broadway classic! Rodgers and Hammerstein’s enchanting adaptation of the timeless fairy tale is based on the French version Cendrillon ou la Petite Pantoufle de Verre, and it brings new life to the story of a young woman forced into servitude who dreams of – and achieves – a better life. Cinderella features some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago.”
Tickets: $8 adults, $5 students, may be purchased online here. Get your tickets soon before they are gone!

There will be a meeting for the students already enrolled for the 2018 Costa Rica trip with Sra. Newcomb on Monday, May 8th during the 1st half of 5th period.  See Sra. Newcomb for your pass.  :-) 

 

Library News:
 The Old Worthington Library is having a “DJ 101 class” on April 27th  from 5:00-6:00 PM for students who are interested in learning about becoming a disc jockey.
 

All 7th Graders: All Zoo trip forms & MONEY need to be in to your science teacher by this Friday, April 28th!


All 8th Graders: Please remind students to bring in completed forms and money to their social studies class for the trip to Cincinnati. Forms and money are due Friday, May 5th. 

Books and Bagels

Our next Books and Bagels book club meeting will take place on May 19th at 8:00am in the library. The book selection for this meeting is Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. Interested students should read the novel and join us for a lively discussion and delicious treats!
