Ohio Energy Project
For the second year in a row, the Ohio Energy Project is training Worthington secondary students to teach lessons in the elementary schools. The student-teaching-student project was expanded from four schools last year to eight this year. The hope is that every elementary school will be able to participate next year.
The philosophy behind the project is “when we teach, we learn best.” By allowing secondary students to be leaders in energy education, they also learn more about the subjects that they are demonstrating.
The video features two of the Ohio Energy Project days – McCord students visiting Granby & Worthingway visiting Worthington Estates.
