Kindergarten enrollment process for families new to the Worthington School District
Kindergarten enrollment is a TWO-STEP process for new families. Worthington Schools offers both half-day and all-day Kindergarten options. Once you have completed the entire process and all required documents are provided, you will be given information about how to register for the All-Day Kindergarten program/lottery. Please go to the 2020-21 Kindergarten FAQs and the 2020-21 Timeline for more information about Kindergarten.On the following page you will:1. Complete the online registration information for each child who needs to be enrolled. This will take around 30 minutes. After filling out the initial information, you will receive an email with a link that will take you to the online registration. To complete the online registration, you will need:
- Parent/Guardian phone numbers & email addresses
- Student birth certificate & health information
- Emergency Contact information
After you complete the online registration and "submit" the application, then:
2. Due to the Covid-19 virus, our electronic calendar is currently down so scheduling an enrollment appointment is not currently possible. Please continue completing the online registration process. Once the online application is submitted, please know our Welcome Center will be in touch with you as soon as possible to continue the enrollment process. Thank you for your understanding.During the Welcome Center enrollment appointment, Kindergarten options will be reviewed. If you want to be part of the All-Day Kindergarten lottery, you will need to pay the first month's $330 tuition online. A link will be provided after your Welcome Center Meeting and after all enrollment documents have been submitted and verified.
