    The mission of Worthington Special Olympics is to provide sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This provides continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

  • Blendon Woods Little League Challenger Baseball

    To provide an opportunity for individuals with intellectual and physical challenges to enjoy the benefits of Little League participation in an environment structured to their abilities. Players are assisted, as needed, by "Buddies" on and off the field. We are open to Boys and Girls ages 5 through 18 who remain in school.

    Columbus Chill Youth Hockey Association (CCYHA) partners with the American Special Hockey Association (ASHA) and USA Hockey to provide children and adults who have developmental disabilities with the opportunity to play ice hockey in an environment adapted to each athlete's level of physical and mental ability.

    The Miracle League of Central Ohio was formed in 2005 with the mission of raising funds to build a unique baseball field for athletes with mental and physical challenges in the Central Ohio area. The City of Dublin kindly donated the land required for this field.

    Super Special Dancers is for children ages 5-10 with special needs. This class is for children with developmental or physical disabilities and is led by a licensed pediatric physical therapist and dance instructor.
