2025 Staff Benefits (Open Enrollment starts 10/4/24)

Worthington City Schools is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees. The complete benefits package is briefly summarized in the Benefit Summary booklet linked below.   Plan summaries, which are available online, provide more detailed information about each of these programs, as well as dependent eligibility.

You share the costs of some benefits (medical, dental and vision), and Worthington City Schools provides other benefits at no cost to you (life, accidental death & dismemberment). In addition, there are supplemental benefits with reasonable group rates that you can purchase through payroll deductions.

Dental Insurance - Delta Dental (PPO)

Worthington City Schools offers a comprehensive dental plan administered by Delta Dental of Ohio.  See Benefit Summary for an overview of the plan and the Certificate of Coverage for more in-depth details of the plan. If enrolling for the first time, Delta Dental will mail your ID card prior to January 1, 2025.  Your ID card can also be obtained online by creating an account on Delta Dental's website

2025 Dental Insurance Premiums: 

The monthly premium for dental is withheld on the second pay of each month. 

Dependent eligibility: Unmarried dependent children may be covered up to age 26 regardless of financial dependence, student status, or residence.  Dependents are automatically dropped from dental insurance coverage at the end of the month in which the dependent turns 26.
