    Angie is grateful that she gets to serve Worthington Schools and work with a compassionate team of educators who give their all to the students, staff, parents, and the community of Worthington. Angie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education and her Master’s Degree in Administration from Ashland University and a Superintendent’s Degree from Dayton University. Angie believes that "The best leadership goes unnoticed...building capacity by empowering and trusting in others to collectively translate the vision into a reality."

    Emilie Greenwald has served as a mathematics teacher, assistant principal, principal, and Chief Academic Officer. She has Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and English Education and Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton.

    Rob Messenheimer, Director of Elementary Education

    Rob is driven by ensuring all students have access to strong early learning experiences that will serve as a foundation for achieving life goals. He is dedicated to serving students, families and staff in oversight of Worthington's 11 elementary schools and preschool program. Professionally Rob has served as a teacher and building principal and has earned a Bachelor's of Science, a Master's of Education, and completed the Educational Administration Licensure Program at The Ohio State University.

    Kim Brown, Director of Special Education

    Kim has the privilege of working with staff, students and families PreK -12 for the oversight of all operations of the department, to include collaboration with others that provide programming and educational support services to our students identified under 504 or IDEIA. Kim has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and a Master’s in Educational Supervision from The Ohio State University, and her K-12 Principal Licensure from Ashland University.

    Toya Spencer - Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

    Toya has more than 20 years of experience in assisting large organizations training staff, delivering culturally-responsive programs and ultimately transforming corporate culture. She spent a significant amount of time with Abercrombie & Fitch where she created innovative solutions to strengthen diversity, inclusion, and cultural competencies across the organization. Spencer has a Master of Arts in Corporation Communication from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Kent State University.

    Kelly Wegley - Director of Academic Achievement and Professional Learning, Social Studies Coordinator

    Kelly serves as the Director of Academic Achievement and Professional Learning. In addition to coordinating the professional learning of certified staff, her responsibilities include the administration of summer programming, serving as the curriculum leader for history and the social studies, and supporting the Ohio Improvement Process. She previously taught English and served as an instructional coach in the middle and high schools. Kelly earned undergraduate degrees in English and Secondary Education from Penn State University, a Master’s in Educational Administration from Ashland University, and Master Teacher Designation from the state of Ohio.
