Absolute Excellence - Exponential Impact

Worthington Food Service

  • The Food Service Department at Worthington City School District has a dual responsibility of providing nutritious meals to its students and supporting a self-sustaining school meals program. We are setting forth these guidelines in order to ensure that students do not go hungry, promote responsible student behavior, and to establish consistent meal account procedures.

You can now review our guidelines for meal charge procedures in 2017-18.

  • Worthington school cafeterias are meeting tough new federal nutrition standards for school meals, ensuring that meals are healthy and well balanced and provide students all the nutrition they need to succeed at school.  Now is a great time to encourage your kids to choose school lunch!
School means offer milk, fruits, vegetables, proteins and grains. The meals all contain age-appropriate calorie limits, a large serving of a variety of vegetables, whole grains, less sodium and fat-free or 1% milk.
We’re always working to offer Worthington student’s healthier and tastier choices. School meals are a great value and a huge convenience for busy families too!
