State of the Schools 2025

Welcome!

Linworth Experiential student Ellie Keener is on her first walkabout in Northern Ireland. She’s in Lisburn and working/studying in Belfast at Queen's University Belfast.

Ellie is studying quantum physics and working on projects in the newly developed field of attosecond physics (attosecond physics allows for the precise imaging of electron movement, opening a world of possibilities, including precise molecule identification, as well as the ability to examine many physical phenomena from the very beginning- the movement of electrons).

Bond Projects

Did you know that in addition to our high school construction, there are other projects that are being completed with funding from the 2022 bond?

Worthington Park will receive new playground equipment, a new pedestrian bridge to the neighborhood, and a new school sign. Liberty Elementary and Sutter Park Preschool will also have their school signs replaced. HVAC improvements continue at Sutter Park Preschool and at Linworth Experiential. The AC cooling towers will be replaced at Evening Street and Worthington Estates. Emergency generators will be replaced at Granby, Liberty and Sutter Park. The parking lot at the Worthington Education Center will be replaced, and the competition turf will be replaced at Worthington Kilbourne High School.

Be Kind To Kids

In Worthington, our staff believes in the phrase #BEKINDTOKIDS! We know that if we are kind to them, they will be kind to each other.
