2020 Fall Sports Information
Announcements for July 1
Families-hope all of you are well, I want to update you on the latest information in reference to Middle School Fall Sports.
The high school have started a phase 2 plan, we were sent the following message of what this means for middle school student/athletes:
I do suggest middle school families schedule physicals for their students and also complete final forms so when a decision is made your student is ready for the start of the fall season. You can download the 2020/2021 Physical Form on from the Athletic Web-Site. I do encourage all families if their child has interest in participating in an activity to complete these requirements during the summer so that when school is in session and everyone is busy you have that off your plate.

Access to Event Information: Please go to Worthingway Website-click on Athletics/Activities, click on Athletic Calendar; click on date, you will be able to access event, time, site, address, and directions.
Requirements to Participate in Cardinal Middle School Sports:
2020 Fall Sports Parent/Student Meeting will be on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Worthingway MS at 6:30. This meeting could be changed based on decisions made by the Gov. DeWine or District Office
All forms must be completed electronically on Final Forms by July 30, 2020.
A 2020/2021 Physical Form must be completed and turned into your home school office by July 30, 2020; if you attend Phoenix Middle School the form should be turned into the middle school you would have attended if you did not go to Phoenix. This form can be found on OHSAA Web-Site.
Team Pictures will be date to be announced at Worthingway.
All Fall Sport Information is updated on the WWAY web-site, just click on the sport or sports you might have interest in participating this fall.
Winter and Spring Sports will be updated early Fall
Prior to first regular season game please pay participation fee as listed below, we prefer you use MyPaymentsPlus, just as you would pay your school fees. If you wish to pay by check please bring money directly to home school office and do not give to the coach. If there is a hardship please contact the AD at your home school and a payment plan will be worked out.
Participation Fee: $125.00 per sport, Reduced lunch: $62.50, Free lunch: No Fee
We are asking that ALL student-athletes (grades 7-12) use Final Forms. Even if your student’s current physical paperwork does not expire until after the new school year begins, please register @https://worthington-oh.finalforms.com now and electronically complete all the forms! When forms have been completed I encourage you to check any sport you are thinking of participating in for the 2020/2021 school year. Please make sure if you are going to any open gyms that at least the emergency form is filled out so coach has your contact information.

Location- Dublin Karrer Middle School
Time- 9 AM- 12 PM
- 7 on 7 will be an opportunity to practice techniques and schemes learned from camp against other teams. The following positions will attend
- Offense- QB, RB, WR, TE, Center
- Defense- LB, CB, FS, SS
Official Practice Begins - August 3rd
Location- Kilbourne Middle School
Time- 3:30 PM- 6:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
Items needed- notebook, pencil, water bottle, cleats
Physicals must be completed and turned in on or before August 3rd. If no physical is turned in then athletes will not be able to participate in official practice
