Teachers will give two‑hour exams or another culminating experience during 1st Semester exams, December 18 - 20, 2019. Click Semester Exam Schedule to see the exam schedule for each day. The cafeteria will open for breakfast and lunch on Wednesday and Thursday, and will also be open during the 9:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. break for students who would like to purchase drinks and snacks. The cafeteria will be open to serve breakfast on Friday, December 20, and will close at 7:45 a.m. for the remainder of the day. Lunch will not be served that day. Students taking a make-up test should plan to bring a packed lunch or leave campus.
All students have exams or culminating experiences in all classes and must be present during every exam period they have classes. Semester or final exams can be challenging for many kids. For ideas, tips or strategies as to how to study and prepare for exams go to http://www.testtakingtips.com/.
Attendance during final exams is important. It is best to be in school and not have to try to schedule and prepare for make-up exams. However, in the event an absence occurs, parents or guardians must contact the Attendance office by calling 450-6210 or send an e-mail to: email@example.com stating the name of the student and the reason for the absence. Make-up exams for students with excused absences are scheduled for Friday, December 20, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Please contact the teacher to schedule the make-up exam. Students with unexcused absences may not be permitted to make up a missed exam.
Students may leave the campus during periods they do not have exams. Students are welcome to stay at school during periods they do not have exams, but must report to the library or to the auditorium.
