Fall Schedule Pick Up Information 2020.21

2020 Fall Schedule Pick Up Information

Dear Thomas Worthington High School Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 school year!  We are looking forward to working with our students and families this fall.

This year, our schedule pick-up process will be different than it has been in the past.  Families will still update their information, pay fees, and receive their students’ schedules, but in an effort to avoid unnecessary contact, students will not come into the building to complete this process.  Much like our end-of-year process last year, TWHS will hold a drive-through event this fall.  Please read below and see the enclosed information regarding our new back-to-school process.  All forms and information included in this mailing are also available on our TWHS website.  To simplify the process, your parent/guardian Infinite Campus username and password are listed above.

What must students complete and submit in order to receive their schedules?

Students and families will complete required registration and payment information (below) online from home.  TWHS will email students their schedules within 3 days of that information being submitted.

Complete Annual Emergency Data Review and Update (Required):  All parents/guardians of enrolled students, even those whose personal information has not changed, are required to update the Emergency Contact information for the 2020 - 2021 school year before their student can receive his/her schedule.   Please go to www.worthington.k12.oh.us and login to the portal to update your information. (Instructions enclosed)

Pay School Fees (Required):  All students are assessed a $65 fee.  Seniors are assessed an additional $35 “Senior Fee” for a portion of commencement-related expenses.  Please pay all current fees and any outstanding fines and fees via the online payment system, www.MyPaymentsPlus.com. (Instructions enclosed)

Complete Free and Reduced Meals Application and School Fee Reduction (Optional):  Families who qualify for Free and Reduced Meals may fill out and submit an application online beginning August 1.  An informational sheet is included in this packet. Go to http://www.worthingtonschoolmenus.com to begin your online application. Please contact Food Services at 614-450-6140 with questions. (Instructions enclosed)

Complete Parent-Teacher-Student Organization Form (Optional):  There are many opportunities for parent(s) and guardian(s) to become involved at TWHS through our PTSO.  Please see the enclosed form for more information.

How will students pick up their textbooks and course materials?

Can students borrow Chromebooks?

If a student needs to borrow a Chromebook, please fill out the Google form at this link: https://forms.gle/YNHGq3yav3ftmABZ6

Is there anything else families need to know or do before the start of the school year?
