A Guide to Parent Rights in Special Education is a parent's guide to the Individuals with Disabilities Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA). The English version of the guide, effective August 1, 2017, is below. In addition, the Ohio Department of Education had this document translated into the following foreign languages: Albanian, Arabic, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Japanese, Korean, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Ukrainian and Urdu.
