Crisis Prevention Program
Worthington Schools trains teams of staff in each of our buildings through a Crisis Prevention Program created by Marcus Autism Center.
A team of licensed experts, including psychologists, physical therapists, and behavior analysts from the Marcus Autism Center created this program to teach working professionals how to safely and effectively manage severe behavior problems. This training is designed to provide high-quality crisis management skills to safely prevent, manage, and de-escalate crisis situations.
Designated staff attend refresher training every year to focus on verbal de-escalation skills and managing safety and crisis situations within our school buildings.
