Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures

Each school in the Worthington School District has drop-off and pick-up procedures in place for guardians or siblings that are driving students to school.

• The drop-off and pick-up procedures are available on the schools’ website and/or the handbook. If you have any questions about the procedures, please check with your school office.
   
• These procedures are in place to keep students and staff safe.
   
• Pay attention at all times when dropping off or picking up your child(ren).
   
• Schools will designate times and locations for drop-off and pick-up. Please review this information before the school year.
   
• Schools may limit vehicle access to areas around the building in order to assure bus parking. There are also vehicle restrictions due to fire lanes and emergency vehicle access. Please look for signs and follow instructions when driving.
   
• All drivers must follow the procedures in place at the school.
   
• Drivers should not exit their vehicles in the drop-off or pick-up lines.
   
• Schools will have staff members in place to direct automobiles and students exiting or entering the vehicles. Please follow their instructions.
   
• If you plan to enter the building during these times, please use a designated parking space.
