There are many aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic that have caused great concern and sadness. All of us can collectively say, without a doubt, that the pandemic’s impact on the Class of 2020 has topped that list.
Over the past 13 years, students have worked hard to get to this point. They have experienced many milestones along the way, culminating in this senior year of high school. We know students are experiencing a range of emotions- anger, disappointment, sadness, and even fear. We feel those emotions with and for them, too. Despite this, we know that this pandemic does not define the Class of 2020. The impact, experiences, and memories of the past 13 years cannot be taken away.
It is important to us that we do everything possible to continue to provide the opportunity for our seniors and their families to come together to celebrate the Class of 2020.
