Enrollment - What you need to know!
- Your family MUST live within the Worthington School District boundaries to enroll! You can find more information in the School Board Policy.
- The enrollment process is now online, and all documents will be uploaded directly to the Welcome Center. If you are enrolling a child for Kindergarten, you will schedule a phone meeting with the Welcome Center as part of the process. If your child is entering any other grade, a phone appointment is NOT necessary.
- Enrollments may be processed within 24 to 48 hours during the school year once all of the required documents are properly uploaded and received during the online registration process.
- Make sure that your uploaded documents are readable and printable. Poor quality could delay your enrollment. We recommend that the documents be in the PDF format. If any documents are missing, unreadable, or cannot be opened, you will receive an email from the Welcome Center with details of what is still needed for your registration.
- During the registration process, you will need to provide addresses, phone numbers and email addresses for parents and guardians, as well as anyone that you want listed as an emergency contact.
- Custody documents are required by the state of Ohio. You should be prepared to upload your entire court stamped and filed shared parenting plan.
- You will need the following documents to enroll:
- Student's Birth Certificate or Passport
- Parent/Guardian Driver's License, Photo ID or Passport
- Current Lease or Mortgage Statement
- Current Utility Bill (dated within 30 days of enrollment)
- Student's Current Immunization Record
- Any Custody Documentation
If documents are missing, this delays the enrollment process. Please be prepared to upload these documents.
